Wow!!! I’m beyond excited for what today brought to everyone in America, who was waiting for change. I want to add this to my blog because of the history we have experienced all day!
We are all looking forward to new beginnings as the days ahead are faced with hope vs uncertainty. My prayer is that our new elected President and Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are covered in their comings and goings. Along with their families included!
I am optimistic that we will see better days!
Today was such a beautiful day and to see so many beautiful, black women represent their solidarity to Madam VP Kamala Harris by wearing chucks and pearls! We are one and we do have each other’s back! I believe in us! Also to all the women around the world, thank you for joining in to show you too support the move for change!
I hope everyone enjoyed their day as my family and I did! I watch the inauguration with my kids today because we are still home schooling. I thought it was an amazing opportunity to show them HISTORY from our perspective and not a text book!

I was so elated! I have lived and waited a long time for this. It was an outstanding beginning. Amanda Gorman was awesome. What was so important was the “new reality” and the doors this opened for our little girls!! SO PROUD!!
