Healthy Habits During Quarantine

We’re in a space in our lives no one could have ever imagined being in. We have had to adapt to our new normal. I would love to help and give tips to create some healthy habits while you are quarantine at home.

Wake up and immediately give thanksgiving πŸ™πŸ½

Say 1 or 2 things you are grateful for, right after you give thanksgiving 😊

Smile when you brush your teeth and tell yourself something, you would love to hear about yourself πŸ’•

Take 5 minutes to say a prayer, 5 minutes, to give praise, and 5 minutes to meditate- this can be any time during your day- JUST 15 minutes

Acknowledge your feelings! If you don’t feel like it, tell yourself you don’t feel like it! If you are experiencing anxiety or depression, acknowledge your feelings. Don’t brush them aside.

Do something that makes you extremely happy 😊 don’t worry about being judged- JUST DO ITβœ”οΈ, my happy might not be your happy, and your happy might not be my happy!! Go for it

Meditate- breathe in and out by counting to 3 and do it 5 times.

Limit THE NEWS intake- look at it maybe once or twice a day for about 5-10 minutes- THATS IT!

Journal! Write down how you are feeling!

Get pretty and put some clothes on every now and again- the way you look will determine how you feel!! Take a moment to get cute for the LIVING ROOM😊

Be in THE MOMENT!!! Very Very Very Very important!!! BE IN THE MOMENT OF IT ALL!! Feel every feeling you are having

Acknowledge every mistake you have ever made and finally FORGIVE YOURSELF!! You have time to forgive yourself!!! πŸ™πŸ½

DANCE- put on your favorite music!!! Nobody has to dance with you! Just dance

Find something to appreciate- like if you did something that brought you pure joy, reminisce about that- I PROMISE THAT WILL BRING YOU JOY!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

Say an affirmation- I am a beautiful person inside and out, I am someone who deserves loves

And most importantly hold yourself accountable! If you are experiencing anything but peace and joy, ask yourself WHAT CAN I DO TO RELEASE THIS FEELING OR WHAT AM I DOING TO RELEASE THIS FEELING– very important that you HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE πŸ˜‰

Maybe you don’t want to do everything on this list, I challenge you to pick only one. I know picking one of these habits will bring you some type of peace and joy
